It has the typical paint fade its red. There is a little rust, has 187000miles and leaks a little oil out of the rear main seal. 5spd good clutch. Electric gauges but the tack doesn't work. New timing belt, head gasket, and head bolts. R134 air. clean undercarriage.

hmm lot of miles, but typical for 89. prob push around 2k+. getting alot harder now adays as the years are progressing. however it is a shelby edition. prob get a decent chunk of change for it.

i used to have one then it got toatled by a hit and run. i didnt relize what i had untill it was gone :-(

I sold mine for 2300.... it was in really good condition. Tryingbe has it now. I believe it was like around 100k miles on it. Probably less... it was a pretty sweet car while I had it.

They have a lot of good parts like 11" inch vented front and rear brakes big sway bars, 2.5 inch swingvalve, a555 trans with four pinion planetary, dual pivot k frame,
the enthusiast seats are really neat too and of course the forged t2 engine doesnt hurt things either just like with any old car tho there usually neglected and have a lot of problems from boneheads driving them into the ground and not maintaining them watch out for severe underbody rust tho

around here they dont even sell for $800, Daytonas are pretty worthless unless someone is specificaly looking for one. I even see TII ones in the junkyard fairly often.

just remember the golden TD'er rule.. don't put any money in it that you are not willing to lose... we spend 5, 6, 7 grand on rebuilding these cars to make them overall worth what...? a couple grand in anyone elses eyes?

I have a NUMBER of these cars but one that i have an assload of money in is my 93 Iroc...(other than the typical assload of money in my TIII R/T) THOUSANDS in it in new stuff.. and if were to sell it tomorrow i know i would get barely two Gs out of it.

(and right now any of the TIII boys and girls on here just went "Amen Brother!!)
