HEY GUYS,

i am currently getting ready to rebuild the bottom end of my motor on my 87 shelby daytona. starting to blow smoke out my dipstick and my rings are pretty shot, already done the tests to prove it. anyway im looking at doing forged pistons, rods, and maybe a steel crank. what type of pistons have you guys had the best luck with? J/E or Vanola ? there both pretty damn expensive so i want to make sure i go with a good kit? im looking to get this thing in the 12's. I already have the swirl ported head, new valves, 3 inch exhaust, new turbo, FMIC, upgraded tranny, and soon to be injectors, pump, and fuel regulator....what else would be your advise??
