my new car few questions

i just bought a 91 shadow 2dr with a swapped in 87 shelby daytona z 2.2l turbo 2 engine 5sp with srt4 short shifter and exhaust.

just have a few questions.
first what are some fairly basic mods to start with to try to get more power out of it.

second the boost limiter on it is set at 14.5 psi and it hits HARD. is there anyway to change this so it doesnt hit like turning it up.

and lastly the idle on it is kinda rough like it is running an aggresive cam but it isnt. anybody have any ideas what it could be

going for a better exhaust, 3bar map and comp to go with it, a walbro 255 fuel pump, +40 injectors.

3" exhaust, Manual boost controller. How are you controlling your boost at the moment?

better check the codes and vacuum lines.

boost controll hasnt been touched. what muffler would you guys recomend for this car that isnt way loud. also do you need a scanner to check codes on these cars or can you check them another way.

Turn the key on/off three times in a row. The check enigine light will flash in morce code kinda I.E Flash......Flash Flash is a code 12

ok so i have a new issue with the car. after a while of driving it hard it will start ticking fairly bad and has noticably less power. will also only boost up to about 10 pounds which probably explains the loss of power. is there any common issues. my only thoughts are either valve train or exhaust leak around header somewhere

I dont think its exhaust, you would probably hear that. Could possibly be a timing issue, or lifter knock. how is your oil pressure when it happens?

dont have an oil pressure guage yet so im not sure i need to get one soon
