Is this head worth pressure testing, or should I just be looking for another one?

Thanks, Rob

I can't see the image however I have had several turbo heads that have cracks between the valves and it is not a big deal. The water jackets are not even close to where the cracks are. The first head I did, I was very concerned about it, so I brought it in to a "very good" head guy and asked him if he could fix it. He said he could but it was not needed because the cracks there are not a problem and if he welded them up and re-machined them they will just crack again. He did a complete valve job and pressure test and assured me that it was fine. I still am running that head trouble free. But I would reccomend that you get it checked to be sure.

hey that head looks fine i worked for chrysler when they sent a notice not to replace heads like yours the previous answer was correct i wouldnt hesitate to install that head the water jackets are no where near the crack the only time you worry is when they are located by the triangle or round water passages on the flat surface of the head

Every head I have ever taken off on a td, every single space between the valves has looked worse than that.

You will be fine.
