What I'm wondering here is because of this do I need to replace the driveshaft seals? Haven't had the car that long and while I'm under the car replacing the tie rods and ball joints I might as well tackle this as well.

Thx

Once you have the ball joints out it would be very easy to pull the axles out. For the extra 1/2 hour + $10 of work to replace them seals, go for it.
