What tranni you using? Will the 555 shifter work? Seemed like you were working on a '92 or something.

If I get the chance, I will see if I can rip them out for you. Wont be until this weekend though.

Well, right now the van is automagic. So, the manual transmission will be whatever I find down the line. I do not even know the difference between them as fas as shifters are concerned...

520/555 shifter has a reverse blockout ring for the four plane shifting, the 523/568 doesn't as the trans uses a 3 plane setup. 520/555 reverse is up left, 2-4 is standard, 5th is up right, 523/568 5th is up right, reverse is below that.

Don't know if the cables are different or not.
