Well im back into the FWD Turbo dodge world

After a few year hiatus.I drove to Champaign IL today and picked up a 1990 Caravan 5spd Turbo.It has the 568 in all its glory.It isnt a pretty vehicle but I kinda like it that way.It has absolutely no options,no a/c.no rear defrost or tint.Power nothing except steering and under the hood.It needs some suspension work and a good interior cleaning.Only has 119k on it ran great except when i got into boost and blew the hose off the PCV.Surprisingly it was great on gas the 120 miles from Champaign only using a little below a 1/4 of a tank. Itll be my daily driver. Ill fix whats wrong with it now and then the fun begins!Ill post some pics tomorrow.

I found the original window sticker in great condition and a factory service manual for it. Im thinking it has the wrong map sensor on it. It goes into cutout way too soon. Ill have to get a boost gauage and tach on it to be sure.

Nice find. Mine's ugly too, and I like it that way. Adds to the sleeper effect. Now scrape those turbo stickers off the fenders, and start killing the rice.

One side is already off,Ill remove the other soon. The only option on mine is the 2.5 Turbo.

Me too, My friend and I built mine from a SWB non power anything 89 Voyager. I added all of the guts from an 88 Shelby Z. It should go like stink. I REALLLLLY want a 568.
Don't forget to intercool it and then crank up the boost.

Did it come without A/C from the factory? I read it had no opitions, but really... No A/C? I think thats a first lol. Everytime im at a yard im looking for a 90 TI/568 lol I love those transmissions(and the 523 3.5FD)! What you are planning on doing with it when you get it running and driving top notch?

No A/C at all.I didnt even notice it until i was half way home with it. Ill take a pic of the window sticker today. Only options on it where the 2.5 Turbo and Am/FM radio.
