Ecu And Throttle Sensor For Td Mg Zr

Hi, Can anyone help. My MG ZR 2L Turbo Diesel will not rev, I have been to a garage and they plugged in a diagnostic scanning tool which has detected a fault code P0121 Throttle position sensor plausible signal, they have replaced the sensor with a new one but we still get the same code. Has anyone had this problem before and what needed to be done as the garage has tried everything and everyone they know. Thanks
