I think that it requires two motors... Have the turbo connected to one motor, and have the other motor connected directly to the turbo shaft, like a supercharger, lol.

Could you imagine the blowoff valve you would need!!

Maybe It's from this... LOL!

"Installing the "thin-shell" bearings. Crank & rod journals are 38" in diameter and 16" wide"

"The crank sitting in the block (also known as a "gondola-style" bedplate). This is a 10 cylinder version. Note the steps by each crank throw that lead down into the crankcase"

"A piston & piston rod assembly. The piston is at the top. The large square plate at the bottom is where the whole assembly attaches to the crosshead"

"Some pistons and piston rods. The "spikes" on the piston rods are hollow tubes that go into the holes you can see on the bottom of the pistons (left picture) and inject oil into the inside of the piston which keeps the top of the piston from overheating. Some high-performance auto engines have a similar feature where an oil squirter nozzle squirts oil onto the bottom of the piston."

"The cylinder deck (10 cylinder version). Cylinder liners are die-cast ductile cast iron. Look at the size of those head studs"

"The first completed 12 cylinder engine"

This thing cranks out 108,920hp and 5,608,312 lb-ft torque. Imagine those #'s!!

(did I mention that that's at 102rpm?? LOL)

Told you guys that I have ADD, so I got bored and went out and bought this thing

The van is in the garage, but I'm going to need to change my ideas toward the van. I'm going to tune the s2000 for the track (turning, not draaaaaaaaag racing), but I want to be able to tow the car with a trailor with my van. So torque is important in the caravan. Still want 3-400ish hp in the van, but what do you guys think would be best for what I need, you know, towing, hauling tires and wheels, being able to claim that my hooptie van is faster then my s2000, haha

well he already bought the s2000. Its nice btw. I like the s2000s. That would make a good autocross car. You should still try to push your van for 12s though

Well of course, the S2K is too nice to start playing with the motor, its just getting suspension/wheels for the time being. I've been autocrossing forever, and its just tooooooooo slow, I'll still do auto-x for fun, but I want to take this thing out to TWS, MSR, actual roadcoarses. Hell, any type of racing is fun. I think I posted early that I still want 3-400hp for the van which should easily put it in the 12's, and want the van to be faster in a straight line then the s2k...

Just that now I'll have a badass tow vehicle that makes power. How cool would it be to walk all over a vette in a caravan while trailoring a car, bwahahaha

But don't worry guys, now I just have nothing but time and money on my hands, I'll try to keep this thread updated, but more secret parts have already been ordered for the van...

Stay tuned ;-)

Bringing this thread back up...

Talked to Cindy at fwdperformance, and that girl made me feel car-stupid, so knowledgeable about these cars. Got a price on a rebuild with all their goodies, and it was much cheaper then I thought. Going to try to get the motor up there in the next few weeks, just need some time off work to make the trip since its only a 3 hour drive from me.

Then once the motor is sitting in the van, I'll get the painless kit going, then its off to boostlogic for new intercooler piping/exhaust, other random tidbits, but thats about 2-3 months down the road...
