looking for as much info on these cars as possible.(engine code, swap info, tranny strength, etc) I have the chance to pick this up for 200$. It will run with starter fluid in the TB, think it needs a fuel pump. Thanks.

That's pretty cool. I just saw one of those in the junkyard here a couple weeks ago. I imagine they're getting pretty rare. It's the rebadged Mitsubishi Mirage, so it has a Mitsu engine in it. According to various internet sources, it should have the 4g32 engine. I've heard that you can swap a 4g63 into it. That's about all I know. Parts could be a pain to come by, but if you have the time and money to fix it properly then $200 is probably worth it.

Those were quicker than the GLHT Omni's! That's the reason Dodge stopped selling those, to get rid of the competition. Plus with that twin-stick 8-spd.
tranny, it would get over 40MPG. Had 2 ranges. Low for Sport driving, Hi for
Freeway and cruising.

Dude, thats less than its value for scrap metal, snap it up! Even if it turns out to be a giant POS you'd be money ahead feeding it to the shredder.

I had an 84 GTS, w/ intercooler, absolute beast!, with the tranny in the power position, while racing a conquest, I went over a manhole cover, broke the passensger tire free, smoked the tire, and burst the intercooler tube, dam that was a good race.

I don't know the designations for Mitsu engines..so is this a 1.6 or a 2.0.My Challenger has a 1.6 but those colt engines look like 2.0 vista engines from what I can see.

I like this line in the ad. "cant find a cool good running turbo car this cheap anywhere"
Obviously he doesn't know about our cars.

Fair enough. There is one here in Richmond and there is one in Petersburg about 30 minutes south. Chesterfield Auto Parts and Circle Auto Recycling. They're owned by the same people. $1 gets you in the door. Just in case you do find yourself in Virginia.
