Hey all,

Don't know if anyone ever goes in project part of forum, so bringing this over here to this section.

Picked this up weeks ago for $500

Things that are new on it that previous owner did.
Fuel Pump, Rear Shocks, Injectors..

The coolant is green and to the top in the radiator.
The oil is in unknown condition at the moment.

The car itself is pretty dirty, but everything is still in great condition, its got a layer of dirt protecting it all.

It needs a new battery, he said the A/C worked before he took it apart, so I assume it still works, good thing too.. Texas summer coming soon.

It has been repainted sometime in its lifetime, and a bad paint job at that. I think they painted over the pin-striping.. or not I don't know.

I might be taking the engine out some day and giving it a whole tune up on the engine stand, gaskets, and what not / Clean the engine bay.

I'm gonna assume that the top was ripped up by a wild animal, a raccoon is my best guess; also because there are scratches down some parts of the paint, from long toe nails from the raccoon.

Yes, that's my 88 Tbird TurboCoupe, I'll post pics of it in the non dodge turbo part of the forum tonight.

I'm just gonna go to the junkyard and find a decent one when I get to that part of my restore.

I'm just gonna take it off pretty soon so I can clean out the tub, and then just have it as a convertible 24/7.

At least til I get a new (used) top

front of your center arm reast can be fixed easy - the bit of the pad where it looks puckered at the front edge - it should just push back into place
you'll have to do it every once in a while - they're like that

I pulled the rear driver-side seat belt out to clean it, and now it wont go back in..

hopefullt it's just twisted and won't roll up over the lump of the fold

try turning the belt over at the slot where it goes into the panel while holding the belt tight

if that dosen't work , turn it back the way it was before then turn it over the opposite way & try again

I just tried that, and its all the way out of its hole flat with the opening,

One friend said to do hard pulls on it or just stuff it back down the hole, but I cant stuff it more than 5 inches without it getting hung up on something.

Oh well, I don't have anyone who rides in the back of any of my cars anyway.
