Well I can finally post in here, I knew I eventually would be since there are so many turbo cars of other makes that I find interesting. This one is a 1996 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD. Yeah it the style that looks like it's smiling at you all the freakin time but I got a pretty good deal on it and the husband of the lady who drove it was a mechanic so it's been well maintained. It's decently quick but with that tiny little mitsu up front boosting almost instantaneously and the 2.0s enjoyment of the upper rpm range it's got me all messed up. Power comes on too smooth for my liking, not anything like my TII 88 Shelby Z. I'm used to counting 1...2...3...here it comes as I wait for the Garrett to spool and then getting planted in my seat. Not that I enjoy lag but I do like to feel the turbo. Oh well, i'm sure I'll get used to it soon enough.

You will soon enough, especially after you do some cheap, easy mods and run 12's with ease!

They are my other car of choise!! I've had two 7 series turbo Volvos my 740 was mainly stock but my 760 was a beast! Hacked exhaust 2.5 downpipe only upgraded turbo 18psi. removed factory BOV extra fuel injector. That car ran it's ass off. I never had it to the track but it used to tear up pretty much every thing in it's path. I used to race my buddy with a modded up 88 or 89 Pontiac Firebird formula 350 auto and I would beat the crap out of him. Boy those were the days. I would drive out to the races and I would hear people say there goes that Volvo with the Grand National motor, if only they new.

I really miss that car. 3.73' gears, posi, 16psi, extra injector, 255lph fuel pump, and a hacksawed exhaust the turbo was loud to say the least. It was probably one of the more sleeper cars that i have owned.

I got a 1996 eagle talon tsi awd turbo too. It's nice so far, only had it running for about a week now. Auto is tough to get used to again, I find myself trying to clutch in a lot....
