I've seen the car in person, and frankly the pics don't do it justice. The car is REALLY sharp. Easily one of the nicest TD's I've seen in the area.

And I wouldn't worry about the mesh over the grille, it really doesn't look like it's impeding flow.

i have actually tried the 91 sbec conversion in my car (mine is the 93 that blue iroc r/t posted back on page 1). it didn't work good. it did actually run, once. it threw me quite a few codes, and after that 1 time, it would never run again. firebaron is 100% right that it just won't work like everyone says it will. that guy definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to these computers. met him at carlisle last year and had a good conversation with him about the 90s turbo cars.

on to other things, where can i get one of the body kits at? I want one on my 92 baron (also posted back on page 1). I think I saw one of the kits on clearance at one time, but I forgot where it was at, because at the time I didnt even own the car yet.

If you are going to get neons, go with Street Glow's Gold Series kit. If you are going to go with led, I know that they also put out some good led kits. They have a pretty good warranty, as long as you buy from an authorized dealer. They are also extremely bright. Whatever you do, if it is neon and not led, make sure the kit you get comes with an external transformer. A lot of the time the tubes will have internal transformers, and they just aren't worth the money when you see the difference in brightness. Red can also get you a ticket for impersonating an officer. I have known a few people who have gotten pulled over for it in other states, don't know how it is in your state

Ok, so you wanna know if that cooler will fit??? well, here is a picture of my spearco install. Mind you the spearco cooler is about 20x14x3.5, and i had to cut the radiator support on the passenger side to make it fit, and remove the ac condenser....but i retained the flip lights.....

As you can see, that middle cross support that hold the light door motor is in the way. To cut that would be a bit of a mistake, as i found messing with that puts stress on that croos rod, and makes the door clips pop off. I need to adjust it all with a big mallet! And to think, after all this work, i may have to just part this car out. I found some more rust.....GEEZ!!!! anyone looking for some GTC parts????

That is a sweet car man! The wing on the back is borderline but it grows on you the more you look at it. All in all. VERY nice.

If I may be so bold as to state that THATS when they ruined the looks of the car.

Hey Young gun,

Vehicle Info
Make: Chrysler
Model: LeBaron
Year: 1992
Car Setup: street
Sound System Setup: stock
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bragging Rights
Quarter Mile: 14.1 s @ 106 mph->

Dont you think 14.1 in the quarter at 106MPH is a LARGE optimistic for a stock lebaron convertable with about 200lbs of extra ground effects???

More like 18+ seconds....

0-60 in 4.5 sec????.... Hey thats only 1.3sec slower than the 750hp AWD Lamborghini Diablo VTT....

Your doin good on here man.. lets be careful and not make yourself look bad. I'm not gonna get all smart mouthed but statements like that can get your butt flamed.

Stock these cars are low/mid 8 seconds from 0-60.

Hey,

Sorry about that. Wasnt trying to get you excommunicated from the church of turbo dodge, but it takes a lot of trial and error to get numbers like that, so when you do, be prepared to back them up, that's all. 14.1 @106 mph is wayyyy off. At that speed you should have put it into the deep thirteens......my signature was a mere 14.48 in radials, but has since chaged to a 13.6 on slicks at the same boost level and no other mods. I cant wait to see what she'll do with that new cooler...heheh.

Very true Firebaron,I wasnt trying to give him a hard time.. just waving the caution flag. Cause its not too long before someone hopps in and raises the BS flag an starts puken' on him.I wanna know right from him what difference he felt when he gets it intercooled. His car is VERY sharp, not that I'm partial or anything....

Us old guys just gotta reighn the young wippersnapers back in line when they get all hyper n stuff. HAHA!

He seems to be a pretty good dude.

Oh BTW Joe,your link in your sig dont work.

alright i just went and tested it and it ran 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds... now this is just with driving on an off road and having 3 of my friends time me. There isn't a track by my house so I cant just test it but I will try to get it tested for real before i install the intercooler. Ya and sorry about that 14.1 at 106... i was just going off of what my neighbor said that he ran it. Since it was his car, i have only had it for like 4 months now. Sorry ya I will get back to ya.
