So far to date no one has even fully figured to coding out for the old batch fire 3.0 engines. The later model sequential is even worse to try and figure out. Still our only real bet is with a stand alone and most 3.0 guys are just as cheap as most TD guys. LOL.

In the dodge garage in the 3.0 section the use of early T1 injectors is mentioned (27pph vs 19pph). Just wondering if anyone else has done this and what the results were. Im assuming they become more useful when the air passages are opened up.

Actually the only people who have noticed any sort of improvement that has been noted was by owners of the 87-89 vintage. The newer batchfires and all of the sequential cars do not need it at all.

was a link to others 3.0 liter sites

from my experience the Fuel is not an issue untill you go boosted most run too rich and slow themselves down go with a a/f gage before modifying your fuel system I run a Dawes devices one but there are many others out there

What about porting the cylinder heads and a nice valve job for more flow on an N/A 3.0? How will the stock injectors handle that? I have a '93 Shadow ES and want to crank it up a bit.

I'll go with a 52mm throttle body unless I can find a 58mm. Is a 58 better or worse for fuel economy than a 52?

Unless you're throwing a turbo/super/nos onto the motor, the stock injectors are large enough for just about any N/A power for these motors.

Now, if you plan to spin the motor over 7000 rpms, then you might need larger injectors. At stock fuel pressure, our injectors are good to about 220hp. Raise the pressure up and you can achieve 250hp with them.

I believe it. I still have a bone stock fuel system and the plugs are the normal color. No sign of a lean condition. I have done almost all the bolt ons you can do.

This should be good to get you into low 14's
what point would ther be innmoving the battery to the trunk on a FWD car? If anything move it to the passenger side for traction.

Also increasing the Throttle body size is gogin to nothing but KILL your throttle response and gas mileage if you have nothign but bolt on's.. if you don;t beleive me, try it You drastically need to change the fuel/air requirements of the engine to see the affects of changing the throtle body. You will lose a ton of air velocity to the throttle body and this will drastically effect low and mid range torque, somethign the 3.0L's are known for..

I have found the opposite of what you said to be true. there is already a rediculous amount of low end torque anyway, but I didnt notice a loss at all.

and BTW my best trap to date with my slightly modded 3.0L is 94.75. I expect to pick up at least 1-2 more, hopefully 3 mph.
