Rick was runnin mid/high 12's on his last setup. I'm sure Chris will be able to best that with a great tune on that motor.

You are forgetting about two large factors though Ondontii. One is that the current record holder for the turbo 3.0 cars has A LOT more experience with them, and two that getting traction with a 3.0 running faster than mid/low 12s will be extremely difficult at best. Notice you do not see many FWD V6 cars running great times in those import drags? Major torque FWD = extreme traction hardships. Do not take this as an it can not be done, we have been told that load of crap before. It will just need some re-engineering of the front suspension system. Vidoe taping an older fwd mopar and then watching in slow motion gives you a very good idea of what needs improvement.

My personal best 60 ft is 2.037. I am shooting for 1.7 - 1.8s with slicks. IF I dont get slicks this year I will easily be in the 1.9s on street tires. My car isn't capable of 11-12s, but I bet I could still get those kind of 60 fts even if I had enough power to run 11-12s.

It would be very difficult, "though as I said not impossible". You have to remember that in order to run those times you would be producing ATLEAST another 150 - 200ft/lbs of torque at pretty low rpm. You also nee to remember that because of our higher rod ratio the 3.0 builds its torque across a broader range than most other FWDs. A very lightened car (not a daily driver) does make it much easier to do but it can still be hard to over come.

Yes it would be hard. Some nice fat sticky slicks and weight reduction would help alot though. I'm about to totally gut my duster and get it down to maybe 2400 lbs. A mid 13 sec ET would be awesome.

Hmm. THe difference between my setup and Roberts is that he has a tiny turbo charger and Mine doesnt spool till 4000rpms. Im really only shooting for insane trap speeds this year, not great E.T's.

And actually for driving, I have found I do a pretty good job with the 5 speed. 3 straight 2.2's on all seasons isnt bad. Heck, on the only complete Turbo run I ever made I ran a 2.3 60'
