in a carb setup if your staying stock i dont think you'll notice too much of a gain or loss in power at all. with the roller it should be quieter and maybe a little crisper. if you switch to roller from a slider check the followers and make sure theyre for roller. i have a roller in my turbo car and it seems to be more crisp throughout the gears and the idle is much better. but maybe... you may find a little more torque on the bottomend. who knows...

Hey Robb,

Grab a 89+ 782 head with the roller cam, it runs quieter than the slider setup, wears less, and the 782 head has a smaller volume than the early G heads, therefore it will raise your compression approx a half point and give you a little more bang for your buck. If you notice any loss in either bottom end or top end performance, Mopar still sells the offset timing keys needed to adjust your cam timing.
