The other day I went to town on fixing some vaccum lines on my 2.2 TBI. I fixed a few, but at the end of the day, I broke the line going from the PCV T-connector to the manifold nipple.
High Idle insued.
I tried searching everywhere in the house to find something that could make due to seal the vaccum leak I had now created. Today, I finally got to the parts store to buy some hose. I got some 9.5mm hose (seemed very similar to of the original inside diameter) and fixed the broken hose.
Only now... I still have high idle.
So...Im wondering, on the vaccum line i replaced earlier in the week, they were slightly smaller then the stock lines. Could that messed up the flow of the vaccum? Or did somewhere along the lines I break a line I havent found?
Im getting both a code for TPS and one for the Map sensor not getting proper vaccum. Im confused. Should I disconnect the battery after doing vaccum line changes?
