Ok so i had a thread about something like this a while ago but my plans have changed some
1991 dodge spirit 2.5l n/a
im looking to do some big upgrades on the top half

I. grab a top half from the JY
...a. intake and exhaust
......1. match manifold up with gasket and dremel tool it close then polish with high grit sand paper in a circular back and forth motion, correct?
...b. head
......1. swirl or g-head? g flows better right?
......2. mill, how far? i plan to run premium 91
......3. valve job and backcut valves
......4. port&polish depending on price
......5. is there someone here i can send it to? FWDP, TU?
...c. cam
......1. is the '88 2.2 roller cam the good one or is it just the 2.5 ones? i got one off a 2.2 roller, square tooth
...d. TB
......1. do i have any options here?
......2. could i bore it out and stick a larger butterfly in there or would i need to do other mods to it?

thats about all i can think of right now
ive already upgraded my springs and struts/shocks, swaybar and i'm getting better brakes soon
for those of you who are just gonna say 'buy a turbo car' .... no right yet

Thank You

i thought u were going for the turbo coversion? I wouldnt port and polish the head if this is still a throttle body motor. The intake/TB is really whats holding u back. Id get a good valve job and call it good. As far as planing the head id go about .0180 but if u plane the head at all youll need to get a adj. cam sprocket to get the cam timing right again. Im not sure if u could get away with taking more off the head with 91 octane but i think youll be ok. The rest of the stuff u asked about im not sure.

what you do is just enjoy the car just the way it is. save you money and build a decent light weight car.

if you still have your heart set on trying to beef up the big ol spirit, what are your intentions for it's use? for a daily driver, just leave it alone
