Brian, I have several FSMs with A604 information. The four solenoids are not as straight forward as 1234. No power = 2nd gear and the 1st gear solenoid does double duty as a lockup converter control. The smooth shifts of the A604 are a result of the gear train design and accumulators. The only thing a full manual control would lose is the "modulated" converter clutch apply. Let me know if I can help with more information. You did what I thought about, put a 3.0L in a K car.

Great question. I want the same thing. There is a lot of mopar computer brain power on mopar Chem. Maybe ask there? If you get this figured out, I'll never want a new car again.

yeah i realized that as soon as I started looking at the fluid diagrams.

the project is on hold as far as custom stuff for now though. I lose my job friday so cash is going to be tight for making things. I will however, have some time to do some research to figure out what I can do. the megashift project over on msefi could be modded to work but I just may do a full manual box with some double flow relays to switch off the existing trans pcm and switch things over to the full manual box so that i have nice trans control for trips and stuff and manual control for backroad romps.

i still have the issue of the trans likeing to downshift and losing the lockup TC function when it gets warm (170deg fluid temp)... might be caused by the messed up PRNDL switch getting hot but I dunno. it seems pretty uniform though. trans gets warm = consistent wierd stuff.

dang used parts lol.
