I would like to know too. I got a 91 sundance and 94 spirit and they both do pretty much the same. I replace the head on the spirit and it didn't help. But the head gasket is probaly bad in my 91 sundance.

I'd say try and burp the cooling system of air again, just in case there's air trapped in it. Stick the car up on some ramps so the rad is higher than the head, take off the rad cap and run the engine until the thermostat opens, if the coolant level in the rad goes down, then you know there was air in the cooling system and you got it out. Top it up and the overflow and you're good to go. Other than that, I don't know. My daytona runs pretty cool during summer and winter. Usually sits at the 1/4 mark on the gauge.
