Hey all..Everyone here has always been very helpfull

Have a question regarding my 84 Turismo.I did a full change over to TBI from a 90 Omni.Runs great!!!.....Weird thing is when I start it up- in the morning or after say 2 hrs of not driving after a minute or so the enging sounds like it devolps a knock that only goes away once warm then I dont hear it at all...
anyone know if maybe the sbec computer retard the timing during warm up?......I have it set to 15 for a little extra take off power since the tbi's are doggish off the get go

any help would be great

Are you running 15* on 87 octane? I wouldn't, to be on the safe side, back it down to 12 and see if the problem persists.

Probably piston pin knock, they revised the computers to cut down on that. My K car clatters like a diesel cold & runs fine. sounds like the same noise pattern & yes more initial makes it rattle worse.
