I'm pretty sure it'll work, but I'm looking for outside opinions. My stepbrother was given a 93 acclaim with I'm pretty sure a 2.5 in it. He was told the head was warped. I have an 87 turbo head with everything but the cam in it I had laying around collecting dirt, and he's been bugging me to find him a head for the car. So i figured he could clean it up and throw it on the car and drive it to save some cash from driving his truck everywhere, but would he need to swap valves? I haven't even looked at the car yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll work

Just use his cam and rockers since 93 would be round tooth and 87 sqaure tooth.

all 2.2 and 2.5 heads from 1986 an up have the same casting number..... making them the same head... the only differences are very minor like cam shaft. so use your 2.2 turbo head on the 2.5 nonturbo, just install the cam/followers and cam sprocket. it all will work just fine.... but it still is a good idea to have the turbo head surfaced since you are going thru all the work, always BEST to have known good parts.
