you can get up to 3 TB spacers in there with the stock bolts if I remember right. Or to put it another way, you can have the stock one, and 2 more. They are only $4 at a parts store and they make a difference you can feel. Hotter plugs can help, they won't help if you detonate, advancing the timing as far as you can go without detonation also helped me. Your milage may vary... literally : D

Certainly makes it louder at wot I'm the guy who won Mike's powder coated tbi stuff on ebay (very nice looking by the way). I've swapped the throttle body on (double spacer) and opened up the intake that was on the car (didn't feel like pulling the head to remove the intake). Much louder at wot. Next I will dump the cat, as the car ran without a functioning o2 for about a year (previous owner). After that, open up the stock L body air box. I need a timing light to bump up the timing. Mods so far don't seem to make much difference.
