I am going to try to get away with using the mexican MPFI setup. Allmotor, do you have any of these parts still laying around? I've never driven such a setup, but a turbo engine without anything attached to the throttle body is substancially faster than a TBI, so if I combine the MPFI setup with a couple other little tricks on a 2.5l engine in a P-body, it will appear perfectly legal, sound 100% stock, lightweight, tough, cheap, and I think such a setup will at least give me a shot of winning.
I'm new to this, so I don't know how thorough tech inspections are if you win, but no Daytonas were ever carbureted, unless mexican ones were. I'd imagine that as long as all OEM parts are used, they probably won't have a clue where I plan to race.
