Whats a good distributor to buy? Only one I found is a Mallory and its $300+. A little to salty for me right now. Thanks in advance.

I only had the opportunity to use it for one event but I was really happy with the Mallory Unilite. $200 shipped and it's yours if you're interested.

You would have to combine your 2.2 distributor with the guts of the VW version, as I recall. The trick is to eliminate the computer controlls over your timing. With the VW guts you can treat it just like an old '73 distributor, custom tailoring the mechanical and vacuum advances.

im not too fimilar with this, but allmotor/22dodge knows it all when it comes to this stuff. i know he has talked about it in a couple threads in this section. he has been banned from this site, but you can still find him as 22mopar on ****************

I dont want to change to much right now. I just want to change the dis., camshaft and I'm putting dual carbs on it for now. What is Egouge?
