Just won Weber carb in very good condition on ebay last Sat, awaiting seller's email response for total shipping cost. This is carb fixed up for a VW kit but I can get stuff to reset carb for mopar 2.2. Info on jetting and advices is welcomed.

I see many carry manual choke kits for other Webers except DFEV? What about that for DFEV? I want to go manual choke.

What book to recommend for tuning this weber? I have seen several books recommended but I found out one book does not cover DGV, DFV series.

Can't wait to turf that Holley SOB out of my daily driver caravan and put in a weber!

Cheers, Wizard

Here's a manual choke setup.

And here is the stock jet setup for the DFEV which I have 2 coming from Ebay myself. I think the stock jets should work for the 2.2 but I'll btt for anybody who's done one already.

Oh and I found a jet set, you size it, for pretty cheap on Ebay too.

Funny, they have this exact manual choke conversion kit I bought today at auto part store. The lever that goes on the pivot shaft, I was stumped for a bit, aha, figured out, use the long bolt & nut (included) to squeeze this thing around the shaft.

I'm very good with putting together kit stuff just that one came with no slip of paper. Now I know how to put it together.

Edit: the kit maker is Papco #310-246. Packge of vacuum packed on piece of logo cardboard.

Cheers, Wizard
