I just got a 85 GLH Omni from the wife for a birthday gift, it has the tipical linkage problems that need to be fixed...but a problem im not familiar with. When Idleing the engine will either die or rev to around 4000 rpm's. When you go to let the clutch out in first it hesistates really bad....then catches....goes like a bat outta hell..then dies???? What should I be looking at..MAP...TPS????

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Mark

Start with basics.Check Cam Timing,if ok Check Ignition Timing.Check all Vacuum Lines for Cracks,Breaks and Misrouting.Check all the Plastic Lines very carefully. If that is all ok check for Fault Codes.
