hello all! i recently travelled 3500 kms in my 'lil omni, out to calgary from ontario, i must admit, one of the nicest cars on the highway, anyways, 2 weeks AFTER i got here, we had 3 days of rain, during the first day of the rain, my car started to idle low, i lost a lot of power, decreased fuel mileage, the tach stoppd working and the rad fan wouldn't shut off. plugs look a little on the rich side, vac lines ok, cap/rotor good, carb body tight, fan relay looks good ( i opened it). with the car ign on, as soon as i plug the relay back in, it clicks and the fan comes on. any help is greatly needed, i don't know anyone out here in calgary that can help, other than this board.
thanks guys
chris

Check for codes. Something is wrong and the car is in "limp" mode. That is why your fan is always on and it is running bad.
I just saw that you said it was carbed. I am not sure if they work the same way.
