Unhappy vaccum problem

I have a 81 dodge aires, i just put a head gasket on and removed the air pump, because it did not work. i plug up the exhaust hole on the manifold, it starts up but run very very bad. i have two coolant sensor in the thermastate housing with two vaccum lines on each one. i dont know which one to block off or what. please help. this is a 2.2 non turbo/carb is a holly

just plug them all. question, how did it run before you "fixed" it?

It sounds like the 2 switches you are referring to are Ported Vacuum Switch's.
They are used to only allow vacuum to a device such as EGR when the engine has reached operating temp and not when the engine is cold.The vacuum supply to the switch is from port that is located Above the Throttle Plate(Ported) so Vacuum will only be applied when you are off idle.
Is the Vacuum Diagram still on your hood, if so follow it and be sure all vacuum lines are routed correctly.
Also as asked in the previous post how did it run before you made repairs?
Are you sure that Cam and Ignition Timing are correct?

Thankyou very much, but now i have a 2.2 turbo motor that came out of a 86 labaron that i am about to put in. I have the computer also. what do i need too do to make the transplant. all information will be very thankful

ok i am asumning your car is a NA car. you'll need the wiring harness out the labaron? gas tank and lines? and put all that in your car.

You said you have THE computer, there are 2 on an 86,you also need all of the Solenoids,Relays and Sensors that mount on the Firewall,Inner Fenders and Strut Tower,The Vacuum Line Harness and Diagram,Air Box and Induction Hoses.Also I assume that the Exhaust will be different and not sure about Trans Bolting up and Engine Mounts.
