Do you have a pretty much stock tbi 2.5? If so I would love to have pics of the vacuum lines from the TB and were they go.. If I'm correct without running outside at the moment. I have one in the back it's plugged. From left to right one "t"d into the the pvc and to the map I think.. One for the pcv and one on the right corner that does nothing.. I broke some of these o.e. hard plastic lines and need to correctly route the vacuum lines. I have the haynes manual but 3d and reality helps me out a ton.. Please post pics and descriptions.. Thanks a Ton Guys!

I took a crap load of pictures and all you see is black lines against a black engine late at night. it's even hard to decifer the picture vs using the factory VECI sticker (vehicle emission control information)

ya know, if you spent more time trying to problem solve and less time begging for answers on the internet, you woulda had this job done on sunday.

I know the first 2.2 I did 25 years ago when I was in hs, took me 6 hours. I read the shop manual first so I knew what I was getting into. this was on my parents only car a 1982 k-car wagon. we had no money, lived in a run down house built in 1902, no garage, gravel drive, set of taiwan tools and that's it. just reading the shop manual I got the head off, checked for flatness, installed a new gasket back togther and running 6 hrs flat. and this was a carburated car that had an air pump and tons of vacuum lines. the point is plan on what you are doing, keep organized. don't panic or have hissy fits and things will go just fine

The point was that the person that can help you most at the moment is you. Vacuum lines get pushed around, photos don't show them very well, and a schematic and a calm logical approach to tracing them is all you need.

everyone knows that I will give great advice and direction. however I strongly believe in the proverb "give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish, he'll eat the rest of his life"

what that means is if someone GIVES you the answer everytime some stupid little problem shows up because the begger hyperventilates about the circumstances... all that person learns is if they cry like a little beotch, someone will coddle to them.

If you get guidance as to how to solve a problem by showing there are methods for self-reliance, then you can grow.

or maybe your goal in life is to be a human diode.

and the more you act like a sniffling whiner, the more I enjoy taking jabs.... BTW I'm not the only one that feels this way. I just have the balls to call a spade a spade. sorry if I hurt you feelings

If I had tbi I would take some pics. Nothing wrong with someone asking a simple question.

your right there is nothing wrong with asking a simple question, there's nothing wrong with asking any question provided one has actually TRIED to resolve a problem.... however, putting forth a demand for immediate assistance, showing absolutely no ambition for self reliance, and tantrums is not asking questions.

Allmotor is right though. Search's show up more info and are quicker.
And a calm, clear appoach to a vacuum diagram is the best way to take it on. They are easy to read once you have looked it over a couple of time. I think the TBI setup's are the easy ones to follow myself and have routed new lines on a couple of TBI shadow's with little to no issue's. You have to take your time, pics wont do any good as the photos blind in the vac lines where you cant make out where they are going or coming from.

its not the point guys.. the point is this.. i've seen his other posts in regards to other peoples. If you don't want to share your knowledge or a helpful hand then there is no need in my opinion to be on any forum. Forums are a way to help people no matter what. And the more responses he gives like he has others is gonna shy people away from sites like these and many others. The go figure it out or take a rational approach is great, makes sense commen sense which i have a ton of, more than most. I was in a deep deep bind asked for some help that was needed immediatly not in a week, and sometimes you just need the help. All i can say after this ordeal is that I would not want him as a friend, or in any of my clubs. And really don't care for people like that. This was simple for him but not for me. And this is a new job for me. So even that much more important. Time was the issue here not how my state of mind or what seemed to be for some people here on this thread and site.

I was GIVING you advice on the lines, the BEST method for repairing is what I stated, take one at a time and follow the VECI sticker, just like reading a road map. several other intellegent members agreed with me. you put yourself into a bind then demanded and expected everyone to jump for you. and I'm not the only person that see's it that way in all you related posts.

if you weren't so demanding, I would have been the first person to come to your house and fix it for free... but your attitude ruined that

and yes, I will hammer other people JUST LIKE YOU!!! and then there's people that I can tell are true and sincere in which I will give awsome advice.... heck I've GIVEN for FREE tons of parts for guys that actually try without all the whinning. it's all in how much of a putz you want to make yourself appear.
