Im looking at buying a 86 omni 5spd. What do they run in the 1/4 roughly, stock? Are they fun to drive? I'm thinking even thou they are low on HP they are lightweight. Are they comparable power wise to a sohc neon?

thanks guys

My 85 auto trans, Has head shaved ported, comp 131 cam, header, non feedback carb, it runs 16 at 82mph, wish i had a man trans would drop to 15sec. I'm going to put a spacer plate under the carb and mess with the trans a bit some to see if I can't get a little more off line pwr. In relation my 84 NA shelby chager was close to 17sec box stock.

actually a 8v MP head with .576" lift cam conical springs, 44mm side draft.. an oh I guess 14.5:1 compression ratio didn't hurt either. 128mph in 4th gear (wrong final drive ratio). the torque steer was ungodly

my cam is a flat follower non-turbo. I have no idea where to get a roller high lift turbo cam. the biggest problem is to find someone that has blanks to make custom cams
