Well, depending on what you are wanting it for, there are different ways you could go. I know that doing a auto to manual swap would not be hard, heck, I have all of the parts you would need in truth. But depending on what you are wanting the Rampage for, a nice 2.2 TBI would be a good setup for a nice daily driver, but if you are wanting a little more umf, going turbo would be a nice addition. I have a turbo'ed 83 Rampage, and I have owned 2 carb'ed Rampages as well, the little trucks are good either way, but the Turbo has a nice little kick that most people would not expect. But if you are wanting to keep it carb, I would say upgrade the exhaust to a hooker header, then upgrade to the SLH3 brakes to better your stopping. Which before you could do that, you would have to upgrade the lug pattern up from the 4 lug to the 5 lug setup. Which in that case, you would have to do one of the numerous ways to do that upgrade, ranging from swapping out to the Shelby Charger, or GLH Omni. Then there is the Daytona strut and spindle swap. But for the rear, any 5 lug drum would work, just get the necessary parts
