I consider my body athletic but past it's prime. Still 6 feet and 210 lbs of whoop ass though.

Seriously though...
l-bodies

As far as swapping the carb to tbi seems like alot of work for nothing...I don't have any info on how to do it either...if you are gonna swap stuff, I'd swap a whole turbo engine/dash/wire harness in....
Mine is carbed and will remain such it's the Holley carb which works well after I had it rebuilt I think the carb kit was $55 dollars or something it's a 2 barrell and with it's little accelorator pump and everything working corectly it almost acts like a little four barrell. Super little but the same reaction. Somewhere I have the link to get the manifold that allows you to bolt on twin Weber carbs that is supposed to bring good results, but I cannot verify this myself...other than the beefier ignition system in mine it's all stock.
If you want quick it's easier to find something Turbo already and rebuild it the way you want.

In my 84 Plymouth Turismo that came factory with a carbed 2.2 I swapped in a tbi setup from a 90 omni with the sbec and harness and it was just as slow but it did run perfect.. after a year of that I swapped in a 89 2.5 turbo and Turbo tranny, cut and spliced the wire harness and ran the same year smec. Added a walbro fuel pump, Never turning back to carb or tbi again. It was the best thing I could have done to my car. Next week the D Cal smec will be here aswell as the +20 injectors and 3 bar map upgrade... One thing I have learned in the last year having it turbo is that BOOST is addictive my friend!!..... If you want you can see pics of my car on the link below..
