redoing the wiring in my carburated race car and need to know what the wires are for in the plug on the computer closests to the front of the car..... i got a diagram for the back plug but cant find nothinhg for the front

Carbed cars did not use the same controllers, ignition etc., what exactly are you working on?
Year, engine, electronics.

Is this a 318 4 bbl from an 87? If not what size engine and what did it come from?

if I was to build a 2.2 carb engine for racing, I'd eliminate all the factory wiring and factory computer and the alternator and use some other company ignition module to run the car.. but that's just me thinking outside the box.
