Omni Carb vs K-Car Carb

The Holley 5220 Non-Feedback Carb, is this the same carb on the Omni as on the K-Car ?

The bolt pattern doesn't seem to match my intake manifold.

Depends on if the carb is off of a 2.2 and be sure the carb spacer is between the carb and Intake manifold.

The Carb arrives at my place and it is a Holley 5220.. but it says on the box its for a 1.7L motor, though the ebay add said it was for a 2.2L.

The bolt patterns aren't close. Intake is, ~ 3X5 inches, carb is 2X4 inches.

I didn't get a spacer.. would the spacer have separate set of bolt holes ?

Is there an adapter plate available or could I make one ? Will an intake off a 1.7L bolt up to a 2.2 head ? How can I make this work, I've sunk too much into the carb to throw it away.

Thereis no "adapter" plate that I know of. The 1.7 is a VW engine so no the manifolds wont interchange. There should be a factory spacer on your GLH that your throttle cable bracket bolts to. The spacer bolts to the manifold and has 4 studs that the carb sits over.

Carb should bolt right to the intake. Sounds like someone sent you a carb with a VW bolt pattern on the flange. Both engines likely used the same carb, however with differently drilled base plates. Can you simply redrill the base of the carb and use it? I would contact the seller and ask for a refund.

The non-feedback carbs flow more cfm and are better in mho. You should check the jetting though....use your old ones instead of the 1.7 ones...they are set up too lean on the primary side and too rich on the secodary side compared to the 2.2 carbs....change your air bleeds over too. This is all much easier with the carbs off the car...and no chance of dropping a tiny part down the carb, through the intake, and into the combustion chamber, been there, done that!
