hey whats up, i wanna get thigns underway for my dual carb. setup and many of you have reccomended the 5220 holley carbs as well as teh weber 32/36 dfev carbs... however, i was doing soem searching on ebay and came across this model: weber 32/36 dgav33b

my question is, would this work as well? also, what makes these webers different than the stock carbs that come on our cars? i have already done some looking around and the 32/36 dfev's are $320 a piece! so i mean for that kind of money am i gonig to notice a power gain? i'm just asking all of this because if this carb. will work that is on ebay rite now then i can get it for like less than $100

please, somebody, lmk!

Sorry to chime in too late for that auction, but those Webers work fine on our cars. The big advantage is there is no electronic feedback. You will also need to make a few minor linkage modifications to make it work, but parts from a stock 5220 will get you there. That carb and a Mallory distributor hooked to an AL-6 box (carb and ignition independent of the computer) would be a great set-up. If that would interest you, PM me. I have a daul point distributor for a 2.2.
