I have a 89 voyager with a 2.5 t.b.i. with just turning 82.000. Comming back from norwalk ( chrysler classics ) the maintance required light popped on. Figuring it's a reminder light for the dealer i asked my buddy & he said there's a reset button behind the gas guage just behind the guage cluster. I pulled it out & there's no sign of it . Does anyone know where it is or is there a different way of reseting it. Any answers would be helpful. Thanks

Check computer codes to find out why it's on.

minimopar.net has a step by step guide.

I was thinking of the samething you suggested. I checked my codes & the codes i pulled up will not make the power loss lamp ( check engine ) light up. I have a check engine light & a maintance light that light up on start. But the maintance light stays on. 12- battery loss( normal code on most & i checked it & it's 14.3v at idle with a new battery ) 15- speed distance sensor ( i have a cable driven speedo) 34- baro switch, Maybe? 55 -end code.

What I found:

Quote:
Apparently, '88 and older can be reset through a secret spot behind
the fuel gauge in the dash, but '89 and later requires the magic computer
tool at a dealer or other shop.

That's what i thought. My friend works at a dodge dealer & he said it might need the DRB tool to clear it out. I knew there wasn't a easy way to it. LOL. Lametec thanks for the info. This was greatly appreciated.
