I recently picked up a 1991 shadow with a siezed engine. I am thinking of picking this up to replace it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...927640161&rd=1

I don't see any reason a carb engine (which I think is actually a tbi engine mislabeled) would not sork in a TBI 1991 car. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for here?

Thanks for any feedback.

since its for a carb car, it its gonna need a fuel pump blockoff plate that your common block doesnt have on it.. check, since it is an 86-87 engine, that it doesnt have a slider cam.. if it does, i would put your cam setup in that head if you dont want to transfer the whole head. also, is your shadow a 2.2?? if yours is a 2.5, be aware that the engine you're looking at is a 2.2.

other than that i think it will work fine!
