for anyone still thinking of doing this, una is spot on with the AFPR. There is a guy who has done the conversion, he took fuel injectors from a ford 4 cylinder whose impedence and flow rates at whatever pressure were about that of a single TBI injector. It ran "ok" but it was real rich at idle speeds and could not be cured because any lower fuel pressure and the injectors spray pattern would foul up. I really like Una's megasquirt, I also think a calibration for a TBI computer could work well too. Just some thoughts, a guy I know is going to try some of this stuff out, ultimate goal is megasquirt and NO2.

mpi gets you an extra 5hp and slightly better mpg, the increased performance is not worth the hassle of the upgrade. on my k wagon, im gonna use ffv parts, but im gonna use the entire system from the donor car including the stainless fuel lines, plastic 18 gallon tank and methanol sensor. i am just out to have the very best parts and tech on my car, even though it will remain a 2.5 n/a 3spd powered car.
