What's a B&M intake manifold worth these days? I just picked one up (a brand new one at that) at the Milan Mopar wwap meet today for $25. I'm thinking it's a pretty good price, but not having the whole kit, I wasn't sure. Anyway, it's got to be a pretty rare piece, right?

It's definitely the lower intake from the B&M kit. I was also wondering if an Eaton M45 or M62 would fit it...

That's good to know.
I was actually thinking about adapting an Eaton M45 to it, and modifying it to fit fuel injectors. Many of the Eaton's come with a built in bypass (ie, Mini Cooper), I could re-program a turbo ECU to run the bypass instead of the wastegate. Use a 2.5 turbo bottom end and drop it in a Dakota. That would be a fun tow vehicle for my C/S Daytona...

They made 2 types of intakes for the B&M 2.2 blowers. The early ones were made by Camden and will say “Camden, P/N 68300242” The later ones were B&M made, not sure of the later type part #. The earlier Camden built B&M blowers were larger, like 80-something ci. While the later B&M units were 66 ci. The bolt patterns on the intakes were different for the different blowers too (can’t interchange).
Also the earlier type blower used an oil line from the engine to lubricate the blower while the later type used self contained gear oil, like a rear end sort of.
Not sure of the value…$25 sounds like a good deal to me for a NOS rare part. I’ve heard of people using them as 4 bbl intakes too. Not sure which version (early or later) though. I’d have bought it for that price.
I have the later type B&M blower on my Rampage. Cool set-up, I like it a lot.
Speaking of unusual 2.2 parts, I recently acquired a rare NOS Chrysler built 2.2/2.5 cast iron header and down pipe, made for the Mexican market. Interestingly the downpipe (no cat) has a split runner that separates the exhaust pulsing to act like a long tube header to help flow through the head at low to mid range RPM. It's like a ram effect in reverse to help extract exhaust gas from the cylinder and helps draw in fresh fuel/air mixture. There is a huge difference in the size of the stock exhaust manifold and the cast header. The neat thing is too is it uses a donut to flex, so it won't crack. I’ll have to get some pics up of it. I haven't put it on yet.

my blower is the early B&M blower it is 88ci and has a oil line going to it and it drains down to the oil pan

Good info, thanks guys. So it sounds like my guess of an Eaton M45 is probably too small. An Eaton M62 is closer to what the B&M S/C was.
BTW, the manifold I bought has a B&M logo cast into it.

that means it is from the smaller blower kit because the older kit says B&M on the blower not the intake

Hey somewhere up near the top of this post someone said that you could also use this B&M intake to put a 4 barrel carb on these engines. Does that actually work? That seems like a hell of a lot of carburetor for such a small engine. What kind of shit would you have to have done to make it work if you could make it work?
