not really...

listen up: there is no easy ghetto way to make your car perform dramatically better. you want more power? do a t2 swap. won't cost much at all and you'll be able to make 250hp pretty easy. don't buy into the stupid ricer shit. if you are dumb enough to buy this thing or strap a leaf blower to your car, then why don't you send me the 100$ and i'll give you a bottle of super-go-fast-crazy-horsepower-in-a-can that'll give you a guaranteed 5000 hp. you'll be smoking pro stock cars, run 6s easy.

Does it come with a sticker I can put on my car? If so, I will take one.

Speaking of stupid things to try...When I was younger (and not as wise) I rigged up a blower motor from a car's HVAC system to my air cleaner intake pipe on my Sunbird. Don't bother trying this, genghis05. I felt no noticeable difference. Just a vibration from the blower motor humming away under the hood.

NOT worth the money. Total snake oil.

The only successful electric-driven S/C is from Thomas Knight Turbos (www.boosthead.com), and that system uses three starter motors (aka MAJOR AMP DRAW!) to turn a compressor housing to produce anywhere from 5-10 PSI of boost. Problem is, to reliably use it, you'd need to purchase another battery for each of the starter motors that turn the compressor and that leads to a lot of increased body weight.

And on top of THAT, the charge is only good for 1, maybe two runs. After that, you'll need to let the car run (for quite a long time) with a high-output alternator or put the batteries on mobile chargers to get them to recharge completely for another run.

In short, don't waste money on an incredible gimmick like this one. Go with the real thing; get a REAL method of forced induction.

Yeah i've come to realize that its a waste of money. I'm looking into real methods, and i got a new 3.0 turbo project that my money would be better spent. I don't think i'm stupid enough to buy one of these things. I just wanted to know if there was any truth to the electric supercharger thing. Apparently they're junk.

Yeah i'd never buy one. I just wanted to find out about them without scoring trolling points, thats the only reason i'm "seriously considering" one.

Common you could get 265hp with the electric super charger and a beefed up alternator

You're crazy. Painting the manifold red's what gave it the extra power.
