i know. its about volume. no difforent than how my HX-35 at 8psi feels the same as a mitsu at 20+psi.
i have a GMC 6-71 blower that im gona put on my street rods 454 and run 10psi. hopefully pump out in the 750hp range when done.
its ALL about volume!

There is a guy who put 2 M62's on a Quad 4 monster build. I tihnk the M90 is a bit out of the limits to be used on a 2.5l engine.

I know of a guy who has a Neon with a 3.0 in it from a shadow with a bonneville blower on it. Its a terrible mess but it runs low 12s. Although he constantly destroys the pistons. Runs at Cecil co dragway.

AFAIK, the 6-71 is undersized for a 454; it would work in a 350 though. You probably want something like a 8- or 12-71 IMHO.

About the SC, you could copy what Lancia did in their rally cars and Volvo in their diesel pentas and have a turbo and a supercharger.

Well, if you do not drop the compression in the 454, it will be interesting.

About the 3800 SC, are you sure? Let me accidentally drop a picture here:

That doesnt mean anything.

Blowers are positive displacement. They move a certain amount of air per rotation regardless of engine size.

6psi of air on a 3.8L will likely be 18psi on a 2.5L motor at the same speeds/same blower so you will need to underdrive the blower to stay safe.

I have an M90 off the 3800 that I modified, I removed the snout and replaced it with a the Snout off a tbird v6 (longer shaft and chances drive side from right to left) then mounted a 3.125" pully. I put it on top of my 2.8 and love it! Idles nice yes it has vacc at idel. Runs my power brakes with no problem almost too well! The motor was hot to start with, but this convertion really woke it up.. If you got the parts and the ability to try it, then go for it!

Ya I had built it using a kit from a builder Ari
A.R.I. Engines GM 60-degree V6 - Performance Parts & Kit Combinations and
it screamed N/A! but the blower made it come alive!
and Anything was better than the Mituz 2.0 lump that came stock in the car!
I've posted pic on this site of the car and motor. I've sence changed the carb set up. I removed the weber and replaced it with a holley 500... big improvement... anybody need a good weber?
