What's going on guys? I haven't had a chance to check my email in a couple of weeks, and my box is prob. overflowing. Anthony mentioned to me that he was going to take some closeups of the modified linkage he fixed up for his Rampage, and I figured that this would be the best place to post those pics. and talk about what needs to be done to make it work. I personally, along with Anthony, will be using the Weber carb (forget the model # though... help?) I figure this linkage would be different than that of mounting the stock carb up to the Supercharger? So, any input on what you did to fab up some linkage, any pics. and any directions would be helpful as well. Honestly, I'm embarassed to say it, but I really don't even know what linkage looks like So, long explanations going at a slow rate so not only myself, but those of us who are new to this whole deal of tweaking the Carb'd engines can follow along would be greatly appreciated!

Anthony, I will try to get back to you this upcoming week though. Sorry for the delay, I'm still checking out the sites that you sent me through email and perhaps I will post those up here as well.

DC, I'll get some close up pics of the linkage sent out to you. You may figure out something better and improve on it. It's really just a matter of trial and error till you find something that works.

You'll need to grab a few extra stock carb parts to modify. Off the top of my head you'll need a throttle cable, a throttle arm off a junk carb, and a throttle cable bracket. Lot’s of spare parts come in handy sometimes with fabricating something like this…little clips, cotter keys, springs, etc.

My Weber 38 carb came with a throttle cable adapter. If your carb didn't then you'll need one. This place has a lot of Weber linkage parts: http://www.piercemanifolds.com/linkage.htm
I'd go with this - 99007.116 DGV Throttle Wheel Kit

You'll need to do a lot of cutting and bending on the brackets, more on that later. Also you'll need a Dremel with a fiber cut off wheel to cut the steel sheathing off the stock throttle cable's end. That and the Dremel works good for cutting the brackets and modifying the carb's throttle arm. I also used it to cut out my hood when the time came for that.
