Used to be auto, but I converted it to a 525 5 speed.

My engine is low miles so for now I’m leaving the bottom end stock. As for mods, the main things are…Weber twin 38 carb, B&M blower, mild MP cam, MP spark computer, and lots of polishing.

My next mod will be a water injection setup so I can run cheaper gas. Also I’d like to get a smaller 8psi blower pulley soon. That and I’d like to upgrade the brakes and exhaust too.

As for driving it, mine’s just coming out of winter hibernation. I just took it out and did a tire melting burnout (had to get that out of my system… ). I Forgot how much fun this thing is to drive.

BTW, how are the rest of you SC'd guys making out? You all ready for summer?

ok here we go........

my car is a 1983 charger 2.2 (it says OCG on the ownership)
the blower B&M the original one (88 ci)
the trans is a 465 (currently missing 2nd gear OOPS)
my engine mods are as follows........

under drive pulley
forged crank
aluminum rods and pistons
287 head and a mild cam with sliders
d.c. oil cooler
4 into 1 hooker header

i have also aquired a set of kyb shocks and 84 shelby springs for the rear,
msd 6t ignition, and a edlebrock water injection unit

my oil press., oil temp., boost,and water temp are all autometer

sorry ....forgot to put my weber 32/36 carb and 2.5 exhaust and a dynomax straight threw muffler (anything with baffles in it won't last)

-Brand new paint and GLH logo's all the way around! alot of money in the work there!
-Supercharger
-4 into 1 hooker header
-2 1/2 inch exhaust straight threw muffler with no cat
-Currently a Mukuni side draft carb(looking for a good Weber)
-A555 tranny with short throw shifter
-Manual rack
-"G" type casting head, Pocket ported, race type (radius) valve grind, MP valve springs capable of up to .500 lift, MP keepers. MP retainers. MP Viton valve stem seals, Stainless steel/swirl polished intake and exhaust, valves. I bought this engine from a person that was on this board. He did a great job with it.
-new brakes and rotors all the way around.
-oh yes....and the topper of it all, I just bought new wipers! lol!
I just purchased an IROC R/T so I think my project will be sitting for another year...Its a shame, I dunno if I'll ever finish it. Been at it for 3 years now.
