Hey guys! First of all, just wanted to let everyone know that I have my SC bolted up to an engine now! HEMI Orange block muahhaa... Anyhow, we just are starting on getting some linkage fabbed up and I'm looking into a Mallory distributor and fuel pressure regulator. I WILL have it done and in the car, prepped and tuned to perfection come time for the MOPAR Nats in COlumbus this year. Now, for my two questions:

First of all, what are you guys running 1/4 mile wise with the B&M Supercharger on?

Secondly, who makes the bigger pulleys for more boost? I am contemplating just putting the smaller pulley on and worrying about more boost later on down the road, but if a larger pulley was available to me then I may choose to do that latter.

LMK if you can! I'll have a pic. of my engine up as soon as my digi cam decides to work. In the meantime, let's see some pics. of your setups being summer is here and everything is most likely cleaned and polished up!

good to hear it's almost ready to go...
i have the old blower and a crappy 32/36 weber and it runs 15.8 @90mph ...
but my 465 trans was hard to shift into 2nd...and now 2nd is gone
as for the pulley i'm not sure... i run the 5psi pulley
here's my pics ...but once i get my new trans in it will look different

Glad to hear it’s all coming together! The hemi orange will look great, that’s the color I used. I also polished and trimmed my blower in hemi orange, along with the block.

BTW, speaking of looks, This past weekend I took 1st place in my class at the Lake Erie tri-state Mopar club’s car show with my Rampage. I was surprised that I got 1st being that I was in the 71’ to 94’ modified class…tuff competition. I beat a really nice 71’ Road runner and a nice 73’ Cuda amongst others. I thought it was pretty cool for a FWD 4 cylinder Dodge to beat out those nice old muscle cars…hee hee . I think it was the blower that gave me the edge .

Anyhow, as to the pulley question, you want a smaller pulley for more boost, not a bigger one. A smaller diameter pulley will spin faster and thus make more boost. I found a few places online that said they could make a smaller pulley for me to my specs. A good machine shop should be able to do it too. What I’d do is go ahead and get it up and running with the 5 psi for now and get a smaller (higher boost) pulley later. If you were looking for someplace online to make you one, try these:

http://www.southfloridapulleyhq.com/ they said they could make me a custom pulley for about $100.
http://www.aspracing.com/frame.htm they said about $95 in steel or aluminum
http://biggulp.home.att.net/myth.htm they too could make one for $80-$90

Keep in mind you’d probably have to send out your existing pulley to one of these places for them to spec it out properly (key, offset etc.)

Steve Mercier can make them too I believe. He makes the adjustable cam gears for the hybrid motors.
