After along time of just sitting at my friends house and he didn't even say one word of it being in his driveway...The little car made its 1/2 hr drive home with its own power with the supercharger installed. This is the greatest distance the car has drove so far and it ran like a CHAMP! Warren...Thnx for your help in my car I would have been stuck still if you hadn't offer'd your kindness..Thnx again
I have my mukuni sidedraft set up and I think I'll be keeping it on. My next step now is I'm going to install my custom belt tensioner and get a longer belt. All thats left for the car is my A555 tranny, short throw shifter, new windshield, new tires, 2 1/2 exhaust hooked up, 3M tape for the side rubber moldings, and i think just alittle tuning and its all done..Almost 4 yrs now and I can finally say its almost done.
There is alot of power but I don't like how short the gears are..For the first 10min everytime I would take off from a stand still I would spin the tires..The header makes is very loud as well.. I'm aiming for this spring and it will be on the road.

Very cool. I'd love to hear a supercharged 2.2 in person sometime.

That is great news! Glad to hear you have it up and running now.
I remember seeing your mukuni side draft setup in your pics. That’s a cool setup!

The B&M supercharger makes a little low end torque eh?…lol. I’m running a 525 with a tall 3:05 final gear and even with sticky 225 / 50 ZR 15’s it’ll spin the tires wildly on a hard launch. I can’t imagine what it’d be like with lower gears.

As for the sound of the blower, mine makes just a very slight whurr at idle, but when it starts making boost at about 2500 rpms it really starts to whine pretty loud under acceleration, especially with my open hood scoop.

You need a Delorean that runs well enough to get to 88mph, go back to 1985...
err, or you can watch Ebay forever, or try a WTB ad here on TD.com.. They're no longer made, and not that common..
