Hi all, i am planning on turbocharging my 68 dodge pickup with a 225 slantsix. i have no idea how many miles it has (speedo hasnt worked for years) and dont know if its been rebuilt before (been painted and has some newer seals from what i can see, dont know what that means). What i need your guys help with is if there is any thing i should look out for befor i start. I plan on going with an early buick regal set up (79-83 draw through carb setup) I know that most turbo guys hate the drawthrough set up and for good reason, but, its simple, cheap, its close to the right size(/6=3.7liters, buick=3.8) will make all the boost i need, and is as close to a "bolt on" set up that i can find. if some one could steer me to a blowthrough that would be as simple and cheap to set up, im all ears. anyhow, any help that you could offer would be cool. oh, almost for got, I plan to start off at 6 psi till im comfortable then ease on to 10 psi with water/alc. injection.

I think what you have planned is a good idea. You are right that draw through isn't the best, but for a cheap 6psi you probably aren't going to do better. Something kinda cool, if you get the block overbored by .060 or something like that you can use TD pistons.
