iloveshelbys=thanks.

I just wanted to do something different and I love the webers but they are my achielles heel. going to lose some hp from ditching the injection and going carbed but they look 2 damn cool hanging of the side of the head lol.

its a street toy not an all out racer so i can afford to lose some power but im still going to tweak it as far as i can so it has a al ittle bite.

29psi although im not actively looking to sell it my glh could be bought. I have had it for over 2 yrs and it has never made it to my house. I am just stacked up with toys that need to be worked on and the glh is kind of low on the list. I have gathered all the parts i need to redo it just havent got around to it. my turbodakota has been eating all my extra cash and time for a couple yrs now.

I live on the south side of sunny manstropolis near prospect school.

are those carbs converted or are you running a hood on them.

Id love to see how the intake piping & IC to webers goes.

the dart looks exactly like the pics on my site,, I am accumulating parts for it.. after i get all the parts ( unlike my dakota) im going to tear it apart and hopefully wrap it up in 6 mos to a yr.. but it does run and drive now if i want to drive it..

Ondonti
front of the carbs is tapped to pipe boost interanlly to equalize pressure under boost, thats why there are 2 braided ss lines coming off the front above the right venturi. so no hats or stuffing the carbs inside a box.. it would be crime to hide those pretty carbs.. lol!!!!!

I made 2 stainless steel plenums that mount to the weber airhorns but when i re routed the exhaust they became useless.. I have 2 tII intercooler cores welded together with 1 inlet and 2 outlets/ better flow and 1 line to feed each plenum i might have to change that as well I'm not sure yet.. I have to make a new plenum or plenums before i can finish the ic piping but thats next on my list now that i have a functioning turbo on the truck...

ill post more pics as i get more done on the truck.. I dont post much here on td lately but ill try to do more to keep you guys updated on it.

Man i dig that you're goin with a BT carb-turbo setup. Most people go the easy way and do a draw-thru. they don't wanna take the time or spend the money to do things like the FPR and solid float. But they lose so much when they don't deal with the little things like that. You can't use a BOV w/ draw-thru cuz you'll vent A/F mix into a hot engine bay w/ the chance for ingition source to make it go boom. You can't use an IC w/ draw thru cuz the fuel will puddle in it and possibly hydro lock the motor.

It's a little more work to do the blow-thru but worth it.

I may have missed this but what are you using to manage fuel? What kind of FPR and pump? Did you use the solid floats and if so, where'd ya get em? How did you get around the power valve issue?
