I think it would be easier to do it on a rampage. Has leaf springs allready,just need to spin the motor around 90 degrees..

10 sec. in a RWD is not as impressive as 10 sec. in a FWD. A FWD is arguably the biggest challenge to go fast in, 1.4 60's are no prob for a properly set-up RWD but try doing that in a FWD! I think it was the challenge. ;)

True I'm sure it's a challenge, but ain't nothing like sidestepping the clutch and trying to get the rear of the car under control!

I have known Stephane for a long time and I remember a few things about his RWD Shelby Chargers, yes he made two of those. 1 was destroyed in an accident and he sold the second one. That was years before the actual FWD Shelby Charger he has now. He ran a best of 10.21 with it if I remember right...

If I remember right, he had a 16 valves R/T engine, powerglide transmission (with an adapter he made) and narrowed 8 3/4 Dodge rearend. He custom made the frame/rollcage himself. The wheels were modified pizza wheels, 3 inches/front and 8 inches/rear. A lot of custom made parts and hard work on those cars.

Here's a few pics;

Last time we heard about the car, a few years ago, car was somewhere in Florida.

Hi,
I have a question for allmotor...I am playing around with the idea of removing the slant six in my duster and installing a turbo 2.2L or 2.5L 8v motor. I want to keep the rest of the drivetrain as it is. So I want to bolt the 2.2L or 2.5L to the 904 trans that is in the car already. How easy would it be? Does anyone make an adapter that would allow me to bolt the 2.2L or 2.5L to the 904?? Has anyone done this kind of a transplant? any help and advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Nic

Glenn Smith makes(made) a adapter that lets you put a 904/727 behind a 2.2/2.5
