Thats a little out of the range of what we know the T3 PP and stock clutch will hold. I'm guessing since the Dakoda is lighter than most that you think the clutch will hold? With the power levels you have already I would think you would at least go to a 4 puck set up. Can't wait to see what happens.

It's not my drag car, it's a daily driver. I had 4 puck discs in the rampage and horizon. I still haven't decided what I feel like using.

mike i dont know if you got your clutch yet but here is a link you might want to check out http://www.specclutch.com/specMain.php

they make an upgraded clutch for dakotas with the 2.5 motors.. they go from stage 1 to stage 5 all out race. I also am building a turbodakota with a 5 spd and its the clutch i am putting in mine.

hope this helps you out some. and congrats / those are some good numbers you are throwing up there.

I'm using the stock trans in a 91 dakota, no idea what model it is.

Thanks for the link for the clutches. Cindy at FWD performance hooked me up with a custom disk.

Mike is away on vacation till next week. The truck hasn't made any passes yet since most of the tracks around here are closed for the year. the suspension is stock but Im sure a set of slicks should eliminate any traction issues. Also some pics of the Dakota at
